The Port Byron Historical Society will meet on November 12 at 7:00pm at the River Valley District Library in Port Byron.

We will have Marian Skaggs, RISE Life Skills Teacher at the Riverdale Schools to talk about the history of a more recent program at the school.  Reaching Independence through Support and Education  (RISE) is a program to educate and empower students with diverse needs and abilities. This has been active for several years at Riverdale and is a continuing program this year.

Come to the meeting to learn more about this recent history and current activity at our schools.
