Join River Valley District Library to create a Mini Golf Course! The golf course participants create will be used for our Winter Reading Kickoff Future Mini Golf Event! Use neon/glow-in-the-dark paint, tape, paper and more to create a challenging Golf Course that the community can enjoy!
Winter Reading Program: Winter Through the Ages
Step into a time machine of fun with River Valley District Library’s Winter Reading Program, Winter Through the Ages! Each week, we’ll journey to a new era—starting in the year 3000 with a futuristic mini-golf kickoff, then traveling back through the 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, and 50s! Families can enjoy awesome books, groovy games, and crafty creations inspired by each decade. Get ready to make memories, explore the past, and have a blast this winter at your library!

Improving Online Health Literacy
Join us for an informational presentation led by Christopher J. Carpenter, PhD, a Professor in the School of Communication and Media at Western Illinois University. This program will help patrons understand the role of digital platforms in accessing health information, how to discuss online health information with healthcare providers, and will offer resources from trusted websites and databases.
