This is a reminder that the Port Byron Historical Society will be meeting on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00pm at the River Valley District Library in Port Byron.

This will be the annual business meeting for the PBHS. We will review the 2024 results, treasurer’s report, and have election of officers and directors.

Officers are elected annually. Board of Directors members are elected for a two-year term, with the terms of Carrie Homann and Joanne Hachtel expiring now, along with an open BoD position to fill.

There will be a report on the January board meeting.

We will also discuss planning for 2025 activities and beyond, so bring any ideas you have for future meetings.

We may also have a brief historical review of what was going on in Port Byron and the world 100 years ago.

Please plan to attend this important meeting.
