Rooted in Gratitude

Some of the most beautiful things growing at our library don’t sit on a shelf or sprout from soil. They’re the friendships, laughter, and care planted by our Friends group. At the heart of our library is a strong and supportive community of volunteers, supporters, and Friends who help us grow in every season. These are the folks who show up early with coffee, stay late to clean up glitter, and find joy in everything from Bunco nights to book sales. Their support funds programs, sparks connections, and helps our library thrive in ways both seen and unseen. We’re endlessly grateful for their time, their heart, and their belief in what we do.

Planting Seeds of Support

The annual Mother’s Day plant sale is not only a fundraiser, but also a celebration of community. With every succulent, tomato start, and lovingly potted perennial, our Friends help fund programs that make our library a vibrant, welcoming space for all. The hard work and dedication of the Friends of the Library, along with the generosity and support of our community, make the library a hub for connection and joy.

Meet Becki

In her short time as President of the Friends of the Library, Becki has already made a lasting impact. She has launched exciting new fundraisers, built meaningful community partnerships, and given our beloved Sip and Flip coffee station a much needed upgrade, all with energy, creativity, and a deep love for the library.

Friends are Fun

The Friends so more than support the library. They also have a great time doing it. From the laughter around a Bunco table to quiet moments shared over cards or stitching, these gatherings are where friendships flourish. We love that the Friends create space not just for service, but for connection, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun. Pop by a Friends of the Library event, and join in on the fun.
