Plant Sale, Blood Drive, and Summer Reading Coming Soon.

The Friends of the Library Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale is this weekend! Preorder baskets are starting to come in, and pick up for preorders tomorrow. If you did not get a chance to preorder one of these beautiful hanging baskets, there will be plenty more available for sale on Friday and Saturday. Shop vendors, plants, and support our library while gifting your mom a gift that blossoms with time.

A Garden that Keeps Giving
If you’ve stopped in anytime in the last month, you might be wondering What’s growing at the library? Our Tech Services Manager started these magnificent veggies from seed in early April. Some of these plants will be available at the Mother’s Day Plant Sale, and the rest will be planted in the library’s garden for our seasonal Garden Share. Big shout out to Emily Riewerts for planting these gifts that will keep giving all Summer long!

Local Girl Scouts Deliver a Message that Keeps On Giving

Our friends from Girl Scout Troop #1194 will be coming to the library to teach tweens about bullying prevention. As members of the Riverdale Middle School Grey Matters Collective, these girls care deeply about mental health awareness, kindness, and equity. Support these Girl Scouts in their community service as they work toward their Silver Awards.
