This year’s Summer Reading theme is rooted in the idea that communities grow through both knowledge and connection. Just as farms nourish our bodies and bring people together around food, libraries nourish our minds and bring people together. Reading helps us grow curiosity, understanding, creativity, and compassion. This Summer’s programs encourage our community to explore the ways that storytelling, self expression, and learning all foster connection and nourish our hearts and minds.
