As the holidays begin to creep up around the corner, we at the River Valley Library have been thinking about all of the things that we are thankful for, most notably, you. By checking out materials, utilizing library services, and attending library programs, you remind us what our library is all about. Thank you for supporting our mission, our staff, our collection, and our community.

Teentober Arts Contest

Last chance to submit Teentober Contest entries! This area wide arts contest offers a $50 prize in each category, special recognition awards, and publication in the annual contest booklet. Video, art, writing, and performance entries are all due on October 31st. Submit your entries and view contest regulations using the link below, and join us at the Teentober Red Carpet on November 13th at the Putnam Museum to collect your awards and see your piece on the big screen.

First Chapter Book Club for Kids

November 13th
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Join us for our first chapter book club where we meet, read the first chapter of a selected book as a group, then take the rest of the book home to finish. When we meet again, we will discuss the book and watch the correlating movie!

E-Resource Highlight

Attention teachers, homeschool parents, and tutors! Scholastic Teachables is an E-Resource offered by our library with a deep collection of supplemental teaching materials for grade levels K-8, with options to filter using themes, skills, subject matter, common core standards, and more. The collection features assessment tools, classroom management tools, family tools, games and puzzles, and so much more. Fall for a Fun Program

Spanish for Kids

Join River Valley District Library and Señor Moore for a Spanish Class for Kids! We will read a story, learn new vocab words, and make a craft!
